  • Theater Offers COVID Inspired 'Winter's Tale'

    The 果冻传煤 Theater Arts Department, in collaboration with the newly created film studies program, presents a virtual premiere of 鈥淎 Winter鈥檚 Tale (Interrupted)鈥 on Friday, April 30, at 7 p.m. The play, which does contain mature content, is free to stream at westmont.edu/watchtheater.

    Equal parts theater performance, documentary, video log and art film, the production explores what it means to be an artist and a human in the winter of 2020 in America.

  • Art Graduates Offer 鈥楿ntold鈥 Exhibition

    April 8, 2021

    Thirteen graduating art majors offer their capstone art projects, which include oil paintings, drawings, collages, digital illustrations, sculptural installations, prints, photographs, videos and stop-motion animation from April 8- May 8 at the 果冻传煤 Ridley-Tree Museum of Art.   • Student Researchers Go Outside for Symposium

    April 6, 2021

    The 25th Annual 果冻传煤 Student Research Symposium, celebrating more than three dozen research projects by 50 students and their professors, is moving outdoors on Thursday, April 22, from 3:30-5 p.m. The event is not open to the public.

    While in 2020 we needed to have this event virtually, this year, student presenters will set up posters inside the top-most tennis courts and attendees will walk through the presentations in a one-way direction. Masks and physical distancing will be required.

  • April Provides a Shower of Virtual Concerts

    April 1, 2021

    果冻传煤鈥檚 student musicians will spring into action this month, performing in seven different virtual concerts, available for free streaming beginning at 7 p.m. at westmont.edu/virtual-concert-series.

    The 果冻传煤 Music Department combines the choir and orchestra for an inspiring performance of 鈥淩equiem鈥 by Gabriel Faure in its annual Masterworks Concert. The pre-recorded performance will be available for streaming beginning Friday, April 2.
