“Mad & a Goat,” a two-woman play by ������ú alumna Diana Lynn Small ‘09, makes its New York City premiere July 22-30 at Brooklyn Yard. Small, who received an MFA from the Michener Center for Writers at UT Austin, wrote and directs “Mad & a Goat.” ������ú alumnae Heather Ostberg Johnson ‘10 and Paige Tautz ‘14 perform in the play, which features original music composed by alumnus James Hapke ‘09.

Mitchell Thomas, ������ú professor of theater arts, directed Small’s play, “Good Day,” in conjunction with the showing of “Mad & a Goat” at ������ú in October 2015.

Small premiered her first, full-length play, “Muevéme, Muevéte” at ������ú in February 2009. At Commencement that year, she earned the college’s Dave Dolan Award, given to a graduate whose campus leadership has made significant contributions in our awareness and response to the social and spiritual needs of the community, the nation and the world.
